Inspired by designs from Canadian artists and fashion designers, and the artisanal craftsmanship of Nepalese and Indian weavers, Kate Thornley-Hall’s trademark style combines a love of contemporary graphics and colour with antique furnishings
Collaborating with artists, Toronto-based and London-trained designer Kate Thornley-Hall transforms their work into home furnishings, wallpapers, decorative flatweaves and custom handwoven wool and silk rugs, or what we call “art you can walk on.”
Patterns include butterflies and bees, playful birds, peacock feathers and decorative florals. A new partnership with design and media personality Tommy Smythe delivers traditional kilim designs with colourful twists.
