A Sleek New Office for Kielburger’s WE Charity

Kohn Partnership Architects have scrubbed clean a former downtown eyesore into a black-trimmed stunner

One of Moss Park’s most charming eyesores is being restored to its former glory in preparation for a new tenant. Like Jilly’s redevelopment into the Broadview Hotel, the once-turquoise building at the corner of Queen and Parliament has been scrubbed clean. Thanks to Kohn Partnership Architects – with Philip Goldsmith Architect, k2 designworks and Triaxis Construction – the exterior is now a handsome brown brick outfitted with expansive windows, black trim and a striking cornice. Once home to Marty Millionaire, a quirky used furniture store, it’s soon to be the global headquarters of Craig and Marc Kielburger’s WE Charity.

Only a 2.5 hour drive from downtown Toronto, it’s a destination that’s easy to say yes to.
