How A Luxe Living Room Delivers All the Feels
Reigo & Bauer combine playfully tactile surfaces in a bold Forest Hill sanctum
Touchy-feely treatments abound in this open-concept family living room, styled by color and texture specialists Reigo & Bauer. The tufted B&B Italia sofa from Kiosk is a focal point in yellow, while neutral elements prove just as much of a draw thanks to intriguing surfaces. A grey rug by Object Carpet (available through Are & Be) resembles a rocky river bed, while TAKTL white concrete fireplace panels mimic the look of crinkled paper.
The buttery-leather sofa visually separates the hard, gleaming kitchen from the living space. Low-slung, it sets a casual “den” tone while its cushy, wide back provides extra seating for chatting with the chef.
A mix of matte and glossy continues with a glass and metal side table from Avenue Road and a felt armchair from Italinteriors.
