Get a closer look at what you can expect to find in the 2024 New Builds Issue of Designlines Magazine

In the 2024 Spring/Summer Issue of Designlines, we focus on New Builds and “celebrate the profound impact of creating something new, not just as an architectural endeavour but as a testament to laying down roots and shaping the very essence of our city’s identity,” editor-in-chief Joseph Cicerone writes.

On the cover, PLANT Architect conjures a lush, established garden in the contemporary renovation of a home in Whitby, calling on the existing environments to curate a multi-purpose outdoor space.

We also dive into the latest workings of DesignAgency, get a sneak peek of designer Julian Gregory’s Farfalline lighting prototype and take a look at creativity around the city through the scope of Ballooms founder Dylan Kwacz.

In this issue, you’ll also find…

When I visited as a five-year-old, the bat cave scared me. When I visited as a stoned fifteen-year-old, it scared me even more. Then came the renovation.
