The Lepal Armchair

The Lepal Armchair seamlessly combines comfort and ergonomics to achieve both functional and aesthetic excellence.

Renowned global design brand Arper unveils its latest creation with esteemed British design firm Doshi Levien – the Lepal Armchair. This armchair adds a touch of character to any interior space.

Its sculptural profile and plush cushioned seat strikes a balance between comfort and style.

The simple yet peculiar lines of the Lepal chair express its reimagining of personal space. The shell’s high curved back provides privacy when wanted yet remains open enough to invite conversation and connection. This armchair provides a space for its sitters to determine their boundaries of interaction.

Made to accommodate the sitter – whether that be times of work, reading or conversation – the Lepal armchair supports active and upright or relaxed and reclined sitting.

Arper commits to sustainability with the new Lepal armchair and its construction. The entire collection is FSC-certified with an environmentally safe powder-coated finished metal base. The chair is also available with a single or bi-material upholstery and a choice of a metal or wood base.

Consciously designed, every component is assembled without the use of glue. By omitting glue from its construction, the Lepal armchair proves to be a truly sustainable choice – disassembled at any time and ready for reuse when desired and before recycling.

Arper and Doshi Levien strike the perfect balance between rest and style with the Lepal armchair. Made to rethink relaxation as a way to create energy and inspiration, this armchair accommodates to the sitter and all of their activities.
