In the mid-ā60s, Alexander Girard created this wool-and-cotton blanket for Braniff International Airways to help end the āplain planeā era. Manufactured by Portland’s Pendleton Woolen Mills, the reissue comes courtesy of Herman Miller, where Girard became textile director in 1952.Ā hermanmiller.com
