DesignThinkers Toronto 2024

One of Canada’s largest annual conference for creative design and communications professionals returns to Toronto

Since its inception, DesignThinkers has spanned massive changes in the communication design industry, offering an opportunity for creatives to gather together and consider design’s impact as we confront fundamental global challenges. This year, it returns to the city centre for its 25th chapter.

The two-day event features over 35 engaging presentations and workshops, along with opportunities to network and connect with other attendees, speakers and industry vendors. This year’s manifesto is “Into The Rabbit Hole” – an invitation into the creative process, navigating which requires being open-minded and trusting the unknown to cross the threshold into DesignThinkers 2024.

Speakers will include Annie Atkins (graphic designer for TV), Aries Moross (Founder of Studio Moross), Leland Maschmeyer (Co-founder and CEO of COLLINS), Mindy Seu (Designer and Technologist), Nicola Ryan (VP, Product Design at Condé Nast), Robert Wong (VP, Google Creative Lab) and Shantell Martin (Philosopher, Cultural Facilitator, Curator & Educator).

Presentations and workshops will address questions such as: Is it possible to create original design work anymore? How can we work better together when the world feels physically and emotionally divided? If AI is here to stay, how can we use it ethically and effectively? How can I craft a fulfilling career?

In-person and streaming tickets for DesignThinkers 2024 are available now!
