In the Castlefield Design District, B&B Italia’s showroom offers an expansive and immersive experience, embodying the brand’s sophisticated, timeless and inherently Italian aesthetic. Located within a 10,000 square foot space, the showroom showcases an extensive range of B&B Italia and Maxalto products, carefully curated by creative directors Piero Lissoni and Antonio Citterio in partnership with Toronto’s very own Elte. This meticulously designed environment provides a cohesive brand experience, mirroring the DNA found in B&B Italia’s showrooms in Milan, Paris, and New York.

The Tobi-Ishi is a sculptural low table echoing the explicit Zen inspiration of the iconic dining table of the same series by B&B Italia. Designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby.

The open layout of the showroom allows for a dynamic and evolving display, featuring iconic collections alongside the latest B&B Italia designs to grace Milan Design Week. Visitors can explore a diverse selection of materials and fabrics, with dozens of options represented, making it an ideal destination for both shopping and design inspiration. The space also includes consultation areas equipped with line drawings and 3D customization tools, facilitating personalized design solutions for customers.

“We are thrilled to introduce our new store in Toronto, in collaboration with Elte, a renowned name in the Canadian design landscape,” says Demetrio Apolloni, CEO of B&B Italia Group. “We look forward to offering Toronto’s design community unparalleled access to our selection of high-end furniture pieces and accessories through this new partnership.”

The showroom, which opened in March of 2024, marks an important milestone for B&B Italia, establishing a significant presence in the Canadian market and providing a comprehensive showcase of their elegant and minimalistic designs in the heart of one of the city’s growing design destinations.
